Maharashtra Earthquake Relief

In 1993, Maharashtra faced an extremely disastrous earthquake, leaving the people in distress. Vikatan decided to extend our support. From vikatan, we contributed Rs 50,000 to the Chief minister’s relief fund. Also, on requesting our readers through our magazine, a total contribution of Rs 2,37,614 in the first portion and Rs 1,00,221 in the second portion was given directly to the then Maharashtra Chief Minister Mr. Sharad Pawar on 18/10/1993.
